The “Mining Census Data” workshop was held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 9 a.m. to Noon in Sacramento. Presentations were offered on The Census Home Page - how to get basic data quickly - Quick Facts & Population Finder; “American Factfinder (AFF)” – your portal to Detailed Data; and “Understanding Margins of Error and Coefficient of Variance in ACS Data”. A presentation on Data Ferrett - another software for extracting Census Data was not covered as we ran out of time. A workshop covering Data Ferrett has been scheduled for September 24, 2012.
