Duplicate sessions of the “Census Data for Grantwriters” hands-on workshop were held Wednesday, February 26, and Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 9 a.m. to Noon in Sacramento, offered in collaboration with the City of Rancho Cordova and the Non-Profit Resource Center. This workshop reviewed the basics of using census data in grant proposal writing. Learn where to locate census demographics to help build an effective case for project funding. Some of the topics covered are the new American Fact Finder website tool, Decennial Census products, American Community Survey (ACS), Population Estimates Program and other surveys.
