Regional Planning Partnership

Dear Regional Partners,

This meeting is being rescheduled to Wednesday, May 24, 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Agenda to be posted here.

In the meantime, we would like to share the following information with you and invite you to participate in two separate surveys:

Regional Transit Network Survey

SACOG, in collaboration with transit operators and planning agencies, are prioritizing improvements to the region’s public transportation services. Community engagement opportunities include an online survey available in multiple languages, which will be open through Friday, April 28.

For more information, contact: Nicole Zhi Ling Porter.

Climate Activity Survey

The Center for Law, Energy, and the Environment (CLEE) at UC Berkeley and the Institute for Local Government (ILG) are surveying California local governments on their climate activity. The Climate Activity Survey is designed to collect information on climate plans, actions and opportunities, and barriers to progress. Results from the Climate Activity Survey will inform targeted policy and program recommendations that reflect the unique opportunities and challenges faced by California’s cities, counties, and special districts. Local government staff with expertise and/or resources related to climate planning will be the best suited to fill out the Climate Activity Survey on behalf of their jurisdiction or agency by Friday, April 28.

For more information, contact: Hanna Payne and Roberto Torres.

May is Bike Month

May is Bike Month starts May 1st! Ride with your workplace, ride solo, or ride for the first time – however you roll, let’s show the world that life is better when it’s pedal-powered!
