Early Activation Application Material
Application Closed on September 15, 2022
SACOG released the application for the $3 million Early Activation Category (Category A) of the 2022 Green Means Go funding program. The application period for the Early Activation Category closed on September 15, 2022.
The category will fund either planning or infrastructure activities that accelerate infill residential development in the near term (grant funds must be expended by October 2024). Project scopes submitted to this Early Activation category should be for specific non-transportation (defined as water, wastewater, stormwater, electricity/dry utilities, and/or broadband) infrastructure components and can include site-specific activities.
There are three required components of the Early Activation Category application submittal:
- Application (use template in ‘related links’ to the right)
- Green Means Go Project Scope Timeline (use template in ‘related links’ to the right)
- Community Base Organization (or similar group) Letter of Support (no required template, i.e., can use any format)
Finally, the Early Activation application asks for simple data metrics. Many of these metrics are produced by a custom Green Means Go funding program data tool. The application includes instructions on how to use the data tool, as well as instructions on how to submit a completed application.
If you have any questions during the application period, please reach out to Garett Ballard-Rosa at gballard-rosa@sacog.org.
