Our 2019 MTIP is part of the Caltrans’ 2019 Federal Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (FSTIP). Caltrans asks that we help notify the public of the opportunity to comment.
The Draft 2019 FSTIP is now available for public review.
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) prepares the FSTIP every two years in cooperation with metropolitan planning organizations and regional transportation planning agencies in California. SACOG’s adopted 2019-22 MTIP is considered part of the Draft 2019 FSTIP.
The FSTIP is a federally mandated document that includes phases of capital and non-capital transportation projects prioritized to receive federal funding under Titles 23 and 49 of the United States Code during federal fiscal years 2019 through 2022. It also includes regionally significant projects regardless of the funding source.
The 14-day public comment period for the Draft 2019 FSTIP begins on October 10, 2018 and concludes on October 24, 2018. Please email comments to lima.huy@dot.ca.gov or send them to the address provided below by October 24, 2018:
