The Draft 2017 Federal Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (FSTIP) is now available for public review.
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) prepares the FSTIP every two years in cooperation with metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) like SACOG and regional transportation planning agencies in California. It is a federally mandated document that includes phases of all capital and non-capital transportation projects prioritized to receive federal funding under Titles 23 and 49 of the United States Code during federal fiscal years 2016/17 through 2019/20. This document also includes regionally significant projects regardless of the funding source.
SACOG’s (MTIP) is included in the Draft 2017 FSTIP.
The public review and comment period for the Draft 2017 FSTIP begins on October 10, 2016 and closes on October 31, 2016. Please email comments to email@example.com or send them to the address provided below by October 31, 2016:
