Woodland Agricultural Worker Housing Wins International Award

Mutual Housing was recently honored with a World Habitat Award for their Spring Lake apartment complex in Woodland. The awards are presented to outstanding and innovative housing projects in more than 100 countries. The Spring Lake project was honored as the first zero-net-energy rental housing community in the nation. Mutual Housing at Spring Lake provides 62-apartments and townhomes, connection to supportive services, and community building programs for its residents. It offers affordable year-round housing and low utility bills to agricultural workers and their families. 

Mutual Housing is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation whose mission is to develop and operate permanently affordable housing that builds strong and stable communities through resident participation and leadership development.
