Watch Now: Panel on Attainable Housing in Commercial Corridors
ULI final report on Sacramento County corridors also now available

Post

SACOG and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) partnered with Sacramento County and the City of Folsom in preparing a weeklong Advisory Services Panel centered on accelerating housing along suburban commercial corridors. The effort has brought in a team of national experts in the fields of infill development, market analysis, and housing planning and policy to focus on the economic feasibility of infill development. Using two corridors as case studies—North Watt Avenue in unincorporated Sacramento County and the City of Folsom’s Central Business District—the expert panel has used the weeklong technical assistance in developing recommendations to facilitate infill residential development along commercial corridors. Both sites fall within locally adopted Green Zones.

The effort culminated during a November 18 presentation from the expert panel.
