On October 20, 2022, the SACOG Board of Directors approved the final guidelines and authorized the call for projects for the Regional Funding Program (2022-23 Transformative Guidelines, 2022-23 Maintenance & Modernization Guidelines, 2022-23 Community Design Guidelines). The board also approved the 2022-23 Funding Round Budget.

What you need to apply

The application for the Community Design program is in the 2022-23 Community Design Guidelines. For the two Regional Programs, project sponsors can use this decision tree to identify the program that best fits their project and download the program-specific forms below.

Regional Program – Transformative

The Transformative program is for projects with a request of $5 million or higher, and projects that will create new capacity through roadway expansions or new transit service. The Transformative program has a cap of 25 percent of the Regional Program budget, or $28 million.
