$6.8 million to address housing priorities and planning

Of the approximately $6.8 million in the first cycle of REAP, SACOG has allocated:

  • $3.8 million combined in two rounds of non-competitive grant funds to its member agencies based on their Regional Housing Needs Allocations (RHNA)

  • another $1.7 million in competitive grants to local agencies

  • over $500,000 for Civic Lab commercial corridor participant communities

  • the remaining funds for special programs, staffing and other housing planning-related uses
