Draft 2021 Regional ATP Policy Framework Available
Provide input on how SACOG distributes biking and walking funds
Staff is gathering input on the Draft 2021 Regional ATP Policy Framework and evaluation process until March 20.
The Draft 2021 Regional ATP Policy Framework establishes a competitive funding program that heavily emphasizes how the investment will increase biking and walking by building safe, comfortable active transportation networks that connect people to desirable destinations. The Regional ATP also evaluates how each project supports regional priorities of supporting economic prosperity strategies and balancing cost effectiveness with project performance. The scoring proposal and evaluation process is outlined in the 2021 Draft ATP Policy Framework Staff Report that will be presented at the March 5 Transportation Committee, the March 5 Land Use & Natural Resources Committee, and through the March 19 Regional ATP call-in workshop (more information to come).
