Community Design Funding Program is now open

The Community Design Funding Program provides funding to local cities and counties to build community projects that create a sense of place for residents. The funding program is based on SACOG’s seven Blueprint principles – which encourages projects to provide residents with various housing and transportation options, to be infill development projects, to incorporate mixed land uses, to create compact development, to preserve natural resources, and to create projects with quality design.

The Call for Projects for the eighth cycle of program funding placemaking projects in Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties is now open and local agencies are encouraged to apply.
