NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR SACOG DRAFT MTP/SCS AND NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF THE ASSOCIATED DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT, AMENDMENT TO THE MTIP, AND AIR QUALITY CONFORMITY ANALYSIS
Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is pleased to announce the release of the following documents on September 23, 2019:

April 2019 Update
Preferred Scenario Adoption
At the April SACOG Board of Directors meeting, the board approved the Preferred Scenario, which consists of a:
November/December 2018 Update
In December, the board adopted a Preferred Scenario Framework for scenario assumptions related to land use, transportation, revenues, autonomous vehicles, and pricing.
January 2019 Update
Preferred Scenario Review
At the January board meeting, staff is presenting the land use and transportation assumptions used in the Draft Preferred Scenario that is out for local agency review. Comments on the transportation and land use assumptions are requested by February 28, 2019.
December 2017 Update
In December 2017, the SACOG Board of Directors adopted a policy framework that will guide the plan update over the next two years.

Workshop on Pricing and User Fees
As part of the 2020 MTP/SCS update, SACOG is discussing options to offset the projected loss of fuel excise tax revenues over time, potentially including pricing or user fees. At the May 17th Board meeting, a workshop on innovative pricing and user fee projects and pilot tests from around the country was held, with two presenters (see links to presentation materials):
September 2018 Update
Discussion Draft Scenario Performance and GHG Target
In September, staff presented preliminary modeling results from the Discussion Draft Scenario. These early results show that this scenario does not yet achieve our -19 percent greenhouse gas reduction target. Staff outlined potential options for refinements that could achieve these targets.
