Green Region Program

Overview

Green Region Program

The Green Region Program outlines programs aimed at reducing vehicle emissions, and moving our region toward a zero emission future. There are three main goals that the Green Region programs work toward. The first goal is to bring existing and new partners together to work on our cleaner region’s transportation by concentrating resources on specific projects. The second goal is to showcase our region’s ability to come together and create a zero emission system that the state will take interest in helping to fund. The third goal is to work with existing efforts at SACOG and around the region to create an equitable approach to meeting our air quality and GHG goals. The plan includes potential funding scenarios for Board consideration in the 2018 Funding Round.
