SACOG has identified the federal Regional
Partnerships Challenge grant program as a
promising opportunity to fund regional
Green Means Go projects.

Placer County Planning Efforts:
Residential Infill Development in
Fast-Growing Community (Gregory Chew)
(Est. Time: 15 minutes)
Placer County has several planning
efforts to encourage residential infill
development in its unincorporated areas.
One of the county’s efforts coupled with
SACOG grant funding is focused
geographically in the Auburn Bowman area
surrounding the city of Auburn.

2025 Blueprint Outreach Update: Focus
Groups (Zach Miller) (Est. Time: 15
minutes)
The first year of 2025 Blueprint Outreach
and Engagement is wrapping up. This month
staff will provide a brief update on the
status of our Community Pop-Up Workshops
and a summary of the discussions from
Focus Groups held earlier this summer.

The purpose of this item is to provide an
overview of the land use related
activities that staff participate in to
support Blueprint implementation on an
on-going basis.

October 5, 2023, at 1:30 PM remotely via Zoom.
