NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REQUEST FOR COMMENT ON THE ADOPTION OF THE 2023 SACOG MTIP, AMENDMENT #2 TO THE MTP/SCS, AND AIR QUALITY CONFORMITY ANALYSIS
The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the draft adoption of the 2023 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP), Amendment #2 to the 2020 Metropolitan Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy (2020 MTP/SCS #2), and the accompanying Air Quality Conformity Analysis. We will hold the hearing during the Transportation Committee meeting, which begins at 10:00 a.m., August 4, 2022.
Consistent with California Government Code Section 54953 and Assembly Bill 361, the Transportation Committee, which is a meeting of the Board of Directors, will be held via teleconference and in person. Members of the public are invited to attend in person at SACOG’s offices at 1415 L Street, Suite 300, Sacramento, CA 95814, or participate in the meeting over the internet at: https://sacog.primegov.com/portal/search Please select the August 4, 2022, Transportation Committee meeting and refer to the posted agenda for how to connect and make comments.

The MTIP is the short-range transportation program for the SACOG region, which includes the counties of Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba, and portions of El Dorado and Placer County. The 2020 MTP/SCS is the long-range transportation plan for the SACOG region. The Air Quality Conformity Analysis is a determination on both the MTIP and MTP/SCS #2.
Public notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comments on the MTIP will satisfy the POP requirements, as defined in FTA Circular 9030.1E.
