Erik Johnson, who began working at the agency in 2005, is the Deputy Executive Director of Operations. Joining the agency as a Public Information Coordinator, Erik has had many roles throughout his tenure, including managing the Transportation Demand Management program, rebranding the agency's infamous May is Bike Month campaign, and has led staff for state and federal legislation. Erik now oversees the agency's administrative policies, employee work, and internal operations. He serves on the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Committee.
