The Sacramento Area Council of Governments is pleased to announce the approval of the 2025 Blueprint (also known as the Metropolitan Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy), the region’s long-range transportation and land use plan. The SACOG Board of Directors voted to approve the plan which details how six counties and 22 cities representing 2.6 million residents will work together to build a connected region.
This milestone follows three years of engagement and outreach across the region, critical board decisions, and a detailed analysis to support the development of the plan.
