Call for Projects — FFY 2010

SACOG and Caltrans are announcing a call for projects for the following Federal Transit Administration grant programs:

Section 5316 — Job Access Reverse Commute

• Estimated FFY 2010 funding remaining for the Sacramento Urbanized Area is $239,489.
• Second call for projects application due date to SACOG for Sacramento Urbanized Area is 5 p.m. September 2, 2010.
• If your agency or organization has already submitted a JARC application for FFY 2010 and would like to increase your request you can submit a letter stating the request amount on your agency's/organization's letterhead to SACOG to the attention of Barbara VaughanBechtold, AICP, Associate Planner (electronic submission is acceptable).

Section 5317 — New Freedom

• All FFY 2010 funding for the Sacramento Urbanized Area has been awarded.

Check back for updates on the state call for projects for the FTA JARC and New Freedom grant programs. (Expected in November 2010)

Section 5310 — Elderly and Disabled Specialized Transit Program

Caltrans has not released a call for projects or estimated funding for projects throughout California for FFY 2010. Check back regularly for updates.

Public Transportation Modernization, Improvement and Service Enhancement Program (PTMISEA)

Please check back regularly for updates on the next cycle of the PTMISEA Program.

*Applicants please note that SACOG is the Coordinated Plan Lead Agency for the SACOG six county, 22 city region with the exception of the rural portion of El Dorado County as defined by the Census 2000. SACOG will complete Coordinated Plan Certification after all applications are received, though applications will only be certified if they are received by the due date/time.
