Placer County Ag Tour
November 13, 2008
Description: Carol Iwasaki's family has owned Twin Peaks Orchard for nearly 100 years. Twin Peaks hand picks nearly year round, starting in May with sweet peaches and floral nectarines, and ending the year with a unique mix of persimmons and citrus. Recently Iwasaki decided to open a commercial kitchen to turn some of the orchard's fruit into jellies, salsas, dried fruits and other value-added products.
