Soil Born Farms has teamed up with First 5 Sacramento to operate locally grown farm stands at school locations in Del Paso Heights, North Highlands, Rancho Cordova and South Sacramento which participate in the Head Start program. The farm stands are staffed by Soil Born Farms employees, parent volunteers and members of the community. The farm stands have enough grant funding from First 5 and others to run through June 2010. These urban farm stands accept EBT, offer monthly cooking demonstrations and are open to the public. A schedule and locations for the farm stands can be found at:
