Tracy Pettit has been the chief of the Supply Management Section since March 2005. She is responsible for managing the water operations of Lake Oroville, coordinating the operations at O'Neill Forebay and San Luis Reservoir-joint facilities between the State Water Project (Department of Water Resources) and the Central
Valley Project (U.S. Bureau of Reclamation), scheduling of power on the West Branch of the California Aqueduct, schedul-ing the weekly and monthly operations for the State Water Project, and developing the annual water allocation forecasts used to assess the amount of water that can be allocated to the State Water contractors.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1992, Pettit began working for the De-partment of Water Resources in various positions with the Divisions of Operations and Maintenance and Safety of Dams.
She obtained her Professional Engineer's license in Civil Engineering in 1997.
