Taylor Brothers Farms, Inc.

Yuba City

Taylor Brothers Farms, Inc. had its beginning in 1916, when Earl Taylor started farming in Sutter County, an agriculturally rich region 30 miles north of Sacramento.

His son, George, carried on the family tradition from the 1940s until 1980, working 90 acres purchased from his parents.

Richard Taylor studied farm management at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, then began farming prunes in 1974. John studied agricultural business at California State University, Fresno before joining Richard in the family business. Their combined hard work, experience and education enabled them to add orchards to their holdings.
