Paul Buttner has served as Manager of Environmental Affairs at the California Rice Commission since 2001. He has 20 years of environmental management and public policy experience. Throughout his career, Paul has developed and imple-mented environmental policies and managed a variety of environmental compliance monitoring programs. His professional experience has focused on industrial regulatory compliance, air quality and natural resource management issues.

Prior to joining the California Rice Commission Paul was an Air Quality Specialist at the California Air Resources Board, Environmental Consultant for Resources Management International and Assistant Environmental Manager for Cargill Salt Company.

Buttner holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
