Nicole Geurin is a registered dietitian with a passion for bringing nutritious, local foods into community schools and workplaces. She graduated from UC Davis in 2008 with a bachelor of science in Clinical Nutrition and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Public Health Nutrition. She has worked in the Nutrition Services Department of the Sacramento City Unified School District for over two years helping to make schools healthier.

In 2006, Geurin worked with the Sacramento County Farm Bureau, to design and implement a nutrition education program at low income elementary schools with a $2400 grant from the USDA Food Stamp Program.
