Kathryn Mathews has over 20 years of rural, regional transportation planning experience and has served as the Execu-tive Director of the El Dorado County Transportation Commission since 2002. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Public Administration and is a Certified Planner by the American Institute of Certified Planners.

In addition to her work in El Dorado County, Mathews has chaired the California Transportation Commission's Rural Counties Task Force, is past president of the 41st District Agricultural Association, and is a member of the American Plan-ning Association, Women's Transportation Seminar, 50 Corridor Transportation Management Association and South Shore Transportation Management Association, among other groups.
