Elizabeth O'Sullivan is a master's student in the Agriculture Sustainability Institute at UC Davis. She, along with a research team, analyzed Sacramento County's market opportunities for Sacramento growers the the Sacramento County Grow and Buy Local project. The project was funded by the Sacramento County Economic Development Department.

The Sacramento Grow and Buy Local initiative has the potential to spur growth in local markets that will help infuse market opportunities for local growers and provide for a viable agriculture industry. In addition to her various research efforts, O'Sullivan has also been active with SACOG on the Rural-Urban Connections Strategy across topic areas.
