Debbie Thompson
Deputy Agricultural Commissioner, Sacramento County
Debbie Thompson is the deputy agricultural commissioner for Sacramento County, managing the Galt office and overseeing two inspectors in the Walnut Grove area. She works with 200 growers, dairymen and ranchers, who farm in the southeast area of the county.
Thompson also works with about 70 Hmong vegetable growers and about 35 Mien strawberry growers. She is responsible for overseeing Sacramento County's other satellite office in Walnut Grove and its two senior agricultural inspectors.
