Beth Robbins is a fourth generation pear farmer in the Delta. A graduate from UC Berkeley, Robbins returned to the farm to fill her grandmother's shoes, managing the family's 80-acre orchard in the late 1980s.

Robbins and her husband have maintained their commitment to growing pears, but they have begun to diversify their crops, planting three acres of cherries in 2000. They have expanded their operations up river in the past year, and remain committed to the family farm in Walnut Grove.
