Embed SACOG's RFP Notices Within a Web Page

Would you like to be able to display -- within your own Web page -- all RFPs which SACOG has available?

Simply copy the following HTML code, and paste it into your Web page wherever you want the RFP notices to appear. (Alternatively, you may utilize our RSS feed)

Copy the following code:

Customizing the Appearance

The appearance of the RFP notices can be customized using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) coding. Here's how to do this:

First, you need to be familiar with CSS terminology (learn more now). Second, you need to see the HTML code for our RFP notices as a Web browser would see it. This will help you recognize what HTML elements you can customize. Below is the way the embedded HTML code looks to a Web browser:

Here's how it looks to an end user (without further customization). Note that if you place this code within a table, it will shrink to fit within that table.

If you understand how to code in CSS, you can see that the above code adds CSS class names to all the elements, making them easy to style.

For example, the title of each RFP is surrounded by a paragraph tag with the class name "sacogRfpTitle". To customize that paragraph, you would simply create a style sheet like the one below, which would make the title red:

<style type="text/css">
<!--

p.sacogRfpTitle {color: red}

-->
</style>

After creating your style sheet, you must paste it into your Web page. Make sure it appears in your Web page before the SACOG-supplied code that you're pasting. Any HTML element can be customized in this way by using Cascading Style Sheets. More about CSS
