Bicycle and Pedestrian Funding Program

The Amended Bicycle and Pedestrian Program and Application Guidelines were adopted by the SACOG Board of Directors on October 29, 2007. The program seeks to help fund capital and non-capital bicycle and pedestrian projects in large, medium, or small cities and towns in the Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties.

Projects should implement the Regional Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Trails Master Plan. Around $10 million will be awarded to the successful applications. Applications were due December 3, 2007. Details are provided in the guidelines.

Applications Received for the 2008 Regional Bicycle & Pedestrian Funding Program

SACOG has provided a complete list of the bicycle and pedestrian projects that were submitted for funding through the 2008 Regional Bicycle & Pedestrian Funding Program. For each project, a PDF of the application is provided. Also, the projects were mapped (see list below) onto the Regional Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Trails Master Plan.
