Planners Committee Education WorkshopsThe SACOG Planners Committee Education Workshops are held periodically to provide informational sessions on selected topics. These workshops are open to anyone and no RSVP is necessary, unless the event notice specifically requests one.
The first 2008 workshop was held on June 25. That workshop was on Form Based Codes, and the soon-to-be-released SACOG Form Based Code Handbook (expected release in late Summer, 2008). For more information on that workshop and the Handbook go to:

On October 21, 2008, a Planners Committee workshop was held on Parking Management in Smart Growth Communities. A panel of three speakers discussed issues relating to parking management in high density mixed-use communities.
