On May 28, 2009, a workshop was held entitled: "SACOG Modeling Tools for Local Land Use Planners." The presentation was a layperson's overview of the land use and transportation modeling tools that SACOG uses to fulfill a number of its planning functions (long-range transportation plan, Blueprint implementation, etc.) and which tools are available to assist local governments.
