As part of the development of the MTP2035 Update, eight environmental justice focus groups were held across the Sacramento region in November 2010, with funding from Caltrans and assistance from MIG, Inc. Focus group participants from traditionally under-represented groups were asked about their concerns with the existing transportation system, and preferences for transportation system improvements and funding in the region.
