PL-94-171 - Redistricting Data

Total Population by Race/Ethnicity data is available for cities, counties, census tracts and blocks. This is the reapportionment data that everyone will use to redistrict.

SACOG has prepared PL-94-171 Redistricting data extracts for use by those involved in the redistricting process. These files do not contain the exhaustive race/ethnicity/Hispanic origin tables that are available in the PL-94-171. The complete data is available for download at the Census Bureau website:

There are summary files available below in .zip compressed file formats that include the 21 most commonly used fields of data. The files provided by at the Census Bureau site above have 94 fields in the geography file and 291 fields split between the two data files.
