Urban Greening Project Concepts due April 11
Improve project competitiveness, verify eligibility

An optional step in applying for Urban Greening Grant funding is to submit a one-page concept proposal before developing the full application. California Natural Resources Agency will review concepts and provide feedback to help improve the competitiveness of potential projects. Project concepts are due April 11th, 2017, though applicants are encouraged to submit them as soon as possible.

Technical Assistance to Local Jurisdictions for Cycle 2 AHSC Statewide Applications

As part of the State’s Cap and Trade Program, the California Strategic Growth Council (SGC) has released its call for projects for Cycle 2 of the Affordable Housing & Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Program. SACOG’s Regional Approach for Reviewing and Prioritizing Full Applications

As described in the Final Guidelines, MPOs may identify and recommend projects that have been invited by SGC to submit a Full Application based on their own process. In January of this year, the SACOG Board approved: (1) SACOG staff’s review and prioritization of the submitted projects, and (2) the metholodogy to evaluate the projects. SACOG is undertaking prioritization in order to better position the entire region to receive AHSC funding awards.
